With the good season, the animations «7 wines/ 7 unusual places» return to service!
From June 24 to October 14, these original meetings offer a discovery of Loire wines in atypical places of Touraine.
On the menu: tastings commented by passionate oenologists or winegrowers in emblematic or confidential sites of Touraine, during an exceptional opening of a monument or a privileged moment with the owners... let yourself be surprised!
Thursday 21/07 at 6pm : Rabelais Museum
Seuilly
Enjoy an evening out of time, on the lands of Rabelais! In his home, get to the heart of the chronicles of Gargantua. From the vineyards that surround the estate to the tuffeau cellars there is only one step. Discover the wines produced on the estate, accompanied by the famous fouaces described in the novel, objects of the conflict between Grandgousier and Picrochole.

Thursday 28/07 at 7pm : Castle of Brou
Noyant-de-Touraine
Welcome to the idyllic setting of the Castle of Brou! Let us tell you about the history of the places, stroll through the large, wooded park to discover the castle, the villa and the hunting lodge. And to close this magnificent evening, enjoy a commented tasting of «100% Red» wines, with some surprising local specialties.

Pont-de-Ruan
For one evening, go back in time and let yourself be carried away by the Balzac stories at the Manoir de Vonnes, renamed Clochegourde by the writer. In the vaulted cellars of this manor built in 1610, enjoy a commented tasting of wines with some pleasures of the Loire Valley.

Sainte-Catherine-de-Fierbois
Come and discover the "Villa Alecya", unique Belle Epoque architectural jewel, and its 2.5 hectares park, with its vegetable gardens, orchards, water features and century-old trees. In the lounge or on the terrace if the weather allows it, enjoy the commented tasting of the wines of the Loire Valley accompanied by some Touraine specialties.

Saint-Germain-sur-Vienne
Ideally located between Chinon and Saumur, come and discover the Castle of Petit Thouars, property of the Petit Thouars family since 1636, and its vineyards. A commented tasting will highlight the AOC Chinon and Touraine wines – issued from the Cabernet Franc grape varieties for red and rosé, and chenin for white - as well as a selection of local products.
