Continue on our way to Luzé to discover the Abbey of Bois Aubry, a 12th century historical monument, remarkable for its history and architecture. Then to Maillé where the Memory House will give you a part of our history not to be forgotten.

The Sainte-Maure de Touraine: the famous goat cheese crossed by a rye straw
It is a cheese born some centuries ago by the conjunction between the generosity of nature, the kindness of animal and the talent of man. The AOP Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine is made in the heart of a region where the way of life is king: Touraine. It is from the unpasteurized goat’s milk that the whole art of producers, cheese makers, maturing process is revealed… From the breeding of goats to the milk collection, from moulding to maturing process, the creation of the Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine exceeds the know-how. This is an art to make signed by the talent of each producer.

The Memory House
On August 25th, 1944, while Paris was celebrating the Liberation, a German army landed into Maillé and murdered 124 inhabitants of the village, aged from 3 to 84 years old. This chapter of our history must not be unknown, relive its history through the Memory House in Maillé.
The Castle of Rivau and its fairy tale gardens
Far from a traditional castle visit, the Rivau takes you in an amazing journey among 14 extraordinary gardens!
