You can enjoy an amazing journey back in time with the virtual reality content on the Histopad tablet.
Eight rooms that have been completely changed today or no longer exist have been restored on the tablet to their original state. All the content has been designed and scientifically approved by expert historians, guaranteeing the quality of this new, fun, educational tool.
Enter the walls and explore an inaccessible area, relive the exceptional Christmas court of Henry II of England in the palace stateroom, watch the Recognition scene with Joan of Arc or handle siege engines and artillery in 3D (a mangonel, trebuchet, cannons, etc.) using an
interactive technique.
Treasure Hunt
You will also play an active role during a treasure hunt in search of precious objects all the way through your visit.
The Histopad is included in the price of admission to the Fortress of Chinon and is available in seven languages.
