Discovering the Rabelaisie by bike

Get your picnic basket (gastronomic or traditional) and go by bike, in front of the Chinon Fortress, to the loop 42 towards the Roche-Clermault.


Let’s go for a ride of about 28 km to discover amazing landscapes.


At the “Le Vazereau” cheese factory, taste the AOP Sainte-Maure de Touraine goat cheese and discover all the secrets of this deliciously local product.


Then follow the path towards Seuilly and leave your bikes in the beautiful park of the Abbey of Seuilly for lunch.


Finally, return to the birthplace of Rabelais “La Devinière”. This writer’s house is the only museum dedicated to this major figure of French literature (Pantagruel, Gargantua and other works).


End your route by going back to Chinon following the loop 42.
