Une Femme Nouée

Sylvie and her sister reunite after the death of their father. Thirty years have passed since the latter abruptly left the family home. She discovers a troubling, even disturbing Sylvie. Sylvie must therefore enter a care center. Before leaving her home, however, one question comes to mind: has she been happy? A return to the past, recent or distant, reveals the "knots" of her life and its secrets, too. A life in which forgetting may be the only refuge from anger and regret. The play "Une femme nouée" (A knotted woman) was born during the (first) confinement, from the desire to delve deeper into a female character, that of Marie-Berthe, who appears in "Soutine, Champigny-sur-Veude, 1943", written a few years ago...
