Joseph, a dancer with a passion for hip-hop, refuses to join his father?s company to try his luck in Paris. With his girlfriend Emma and his best friend Karim, he joins the Parisian crew of Youri, a famous breaker, in a bid to win an international hip-hop competition. But on selection day, nothing goes according to plan: Joseph is betrayed by Emma and Youri, and the group explodes. Taken in by Rémi, a former prima ballerina turned teacher, Joseph discovers the world of ballet and meets the brilliant Chloé, who is preparing to enter the New York City Ballet. Through this encounter, orchestrating an unexpected alliance between hip-hop and classical dance, Joseph learns to feel legitimate as a dancer and a leader.
